We went strawberry picking a few weeks ago and brought home several pounds of the sweetest strawberries ever. I put a bunch away in the freezer for future use. One of the things I have been making is a Strawberry Lemonade. It is so easy and yummy you will want to make some right a way...
Here is how I make it:
 |
You will need your favorite lemonade mix, 1 to 1.5 cups of frozen
strawberries, a small glass and something to squish the strawberries with...
( I used my Pampered Chef Tart shaper) |
 |
| Mix up your Lemonade |
 |
Pour about 1/2 cup of the lemonade into the glass,
add a hand full of strawberries and start squishing them... |
 |
When you have mushed up the batch of strawberries,
pour the mixture back into the pitcher. Pour a little more
lemonade into the glass and mush up more of the strawberries,
repeat until they are all done |
 |
| That's all that's to it, enjoy! |
Our local grocery store chain HEB, has strawberries on sale this week. $.98 per pound. I think I am going to stock up my freezer so we can drink strawberry lemonade all summer long!

Mmm, that looks so good Jamie. I love how bright and red the lemonade is. I think everybody is craving strawberries right now, they keep popping up all around. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for adding these to my Refreshing Summer Drinks collection. If you have any more beverage posts you'd like to submit, it will be open for a while. Thanks!
