Squeezing the Last Bit of Fun out of Summer

The first day of school was last week, but before it started, we did our best to squeeze out the last bit of fun!

We water colored a sheet with spay bottles.  This was really easy and fun, I just diluted some washable paint with water and put it in a spray bottle.  They had a blast squirting paint all over the sheet.

We made finger puppets...

Those princesses better watch out...  Here comes a T-Rex!

Created a lot of Sticker Art.  (We've been working on a huge bag of foam stickers all summer!)

We made homemade peanut butter.  So very yummy!

Had a lot of fun doing some baking.

Who knew sniffing limes was so darn funny?
Did some last minute swimming...

Went to the lake and drove a boat!

And saw some critters in the yard...

This guy was hanging out in my tomato pot.

I came across this scary guy after an evening walk, you can't tell in the picture, but this guy's head is actually no longer attached...
I will be linking up to some of the linky parties listed here.  Check 'em out if you have time...

  2. What a great way to end the summer! Oh that snake would have had me screaming, however, I would have had to get that picture too!
