Until recently that is... I was contacted by Whimsy Couture and they generously offered me the opportunity to test out and review a pattern of my choice. I was already familiar with Whimsy Couture patterns and I knew exactly which one I wanted to sew...
The Petti Ruffle Tank/Dress Pattern and Tutorial! (I practically ran to Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon in my hot little hand!)

What a fabulous little pattern! The Whimsy Couture patterns come via email and you are able to download them for immediate printing and sewing.
I always make her dresses a little long so she can get a few years wear out of them. The combination of this fabric and pattern, she will be able to wear it for 2 to 3 years, I'm sure.
The pattern was well written and very easy to sew. I definitely recommend it! I am pretty sure this is my little girl's new favorite dress.
After I finished sewing this dress, I made a 2nd trip back to Hobby Lobby (with another coupon) and bought some of the yellow ruffle fabric. I sewed up three little tops, and added different colored flower embellishments for my daughter and 2 little nieces. (My Mom just left with my daughter to visit my nieces, so expect another post soon...)
You can visit the Whimsy Couture Pattern Shop yourself and will find over 75 e-patterns to choose from. Some of my favorite patterns are:

Adorable!! What did you think about sewing with this fabric? I added some of it to a couple nightgowns I made for my granddaughters and it was quite difficult even when pinned in place. Really surprised me.
