Racerback Tunic Dress with a Ruffled Skirt Bottom

I finished up another Racerback Tunic dress last week.  I just love the style and cut of this dress.  The pattern is designed for knit fabrics so it's very comfy, plus it can still be worn to school.  (It stays pretty warm here through October and sometimes through November.)

I had some ruffle fabric left over after making this ruffle dress dress, so I used it for the bottom flounce.


I added a tuxedo-style embellishment to the front.  The embellishment really added a little something extra to the dress...


  
We've been having very high humidity lately and the humidity really makes her hair curl.  I didn't brush her hair for these photos because I was afraid of "brushing" the curl out.  I have trimmed her bangs since taking these pictures, they were getting so long!
