We were able to spend some quality time with Nana and Papa at the pool and beach:
See the rest of the pictures after the jump! (I have started using this jump feature on some of my photo-heavy posts, it helps keep my home page quick-loading.)
Got $5.00 haircuts (gotta love small town barber prices):
Even the little ones loved the Crazy Cajun!
I put together these coordinating outfits just to get some beach pictures. (I used tie dye shirts I found at Target earlier this summer when they had all their shorts and tees on sale for $5.)
I want to thank all of my guest posters for helping out and giving me a little break last week: Erin from Crafty Biggers, Brooke from Baby Bear Hugs, Sophie, from My Happy Place…, Kelsey from Poofy Cheeks, Veronica from the Adventures of D and V and Cathy from My 1929 Charmer. Be sure and check out their blogs if you have a chance!
I will be linking up to some of the linky parties found here.

I like them! So hard to make good brother sister matching outfits but tie dye works perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love your beach pictures. What camera do you use and do you use an automatic setting or are you a professional photographer??? The colors are so bright and clear. Susanne
ReplyDeleteThank you, I am not a photographer, but I do love taking pictures. These pictures were taken with a 7 year old nikon d50 and a 50mm. (This lens is awesome, so sharp and bright.) I don't use the automatic setting anymore (Unless it is dark and I need the flash.) I usually give my pictures a quick levels adjustment in photoshop elements, though you could get similar effect using the curves tools in the free version of http://www.picmonkey.com/
DeleteGood luck!
