Help Me Choose the Quilt!

Guess what?

I've decided to participate again in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day coming up on May 6th and I am  giving away a picnic/lap sized quilt!

***Update ***  See  which quilt won and enter to win here!

The problem is, I can't decide which one to giveaway...  I have three quilt tops ready for quilting, Will you help me choose which one?

I have set up a poll at the bottom of the post.  Go cast your vote! (at the bottom of the page)

Help me choose the quilt!

Here are the choices:

Quilt A:  Purple/Orange/Yellows.  The largest quilt top at 55 x 64 inches, is randomly pieced together with 11 different fabrics in shades of pink, purple yellow and orange.  The back of the quilt will be orange and it will be quilted with straight lines.

Quilt B:  Chevron quilt top, measures 51 wide by 63 (it might shrink a bit when I even it out...)  This quilt is my first attempt at chevrons, it actually was not too hard...  I used a layer cake from the Moda line, Hello Luscious.  I have no idea what to use on the back.  I don't have any fabrics in my stash that I particularly like, so this one will require another trip to the fabric shop...

Quilt C:  Yellow/Blue/Orange Squares. This quilt top is pieced together from 15 random fat quarters in shades of blue, yellow, orange and green.  The quilt top currently measures 51 x 51, but I have decided to add one more row, so the final measurement will be around 51 x 60.  I've already picked out a cute turquoise print (not shown) for the back.

  2. I love the first one. I'm so selfish I couldn't give any of them away if they were mine! I'm glad people like you have generous hearts!

  5. If it is intended to be used for a picnic, A would be my choice. I like the others, especially the chevron, but it would get too dirty with all the white.

    1. It had to be A for me! I am a freak for anything orange, and that fills the bill. Especially when you said orange back! It would be so neat if I could win it.

  6. It was really a toss up for A and C for me, but I love how wild A looks with all the different sized squares and rectangles. They are all gorgeous!

  8. I like #3, all are very nice, but I love the colours of the third one best. Nice work on all 3!

  9. They're all great, but my favorite is C! I just love the Spring colors! I could so easily see it draped on a white wicker chair, a porch swing, as a bright splash of color on the end of the bed, on my lap s I snuggle up on a chilly evening or rainy day... It just makes me smile!

  10. Well, I just might have to pull out my fabric stashes, & see what I can do about making something similar! Lol, oh, my hubby is going to just *love* that! I have projects everywhere, already... Maybe I should get some of those out of the way first, huh?

  11. My choice is quilt top A. It just pops out to me. In a way it makes me think of both my daughters because it has some of their favorite colors while growing up. I would love to have it to snuggle with on the couch. I wanted to let you know all are three are pretty!

  12. Thanks for sharing on Sew Many Ways! Found you there and LOVE your quilt tops... Love the chevron the best but I think the last one could be more girl or boy adult or child and you already have all you need for it... hope you choose it to enter in the giveaway.... Kathi

  13. They are all lovely, but the chevron quilt top is my favorite. I don't know that I'd be willing to give away any of these quilts if they were mine so I admire your generosity.

  14. They are all so beautiful...... very hard for me to choose. I picked the 3rd one because I told myself IF I won, which one would work for me. I see most want the ever popular chevron design. I would be thrilled and ever so proud to get any of these three. Just beautiful.

Laughing cause I can not come up with the money to make one, I found a very ugly bedspread that is a bit cushy and am thinking if I ever get the fabric I will just use this UGLY bedspread for the body of the quilt and then just fabric for the drop. Sigh...... beautiful colors I think on all. I bet most did as I and picked what would go for them, cause otherwise how could anyone actually choose between them.

    1. Oh gosh, my comment makes no sense. I meant to say that I would use the ugly bedspread to pad the body of the quilt.

With me, you have to read between the mixed up lines.. lol.

    2. Ha ha, I knew what you meant! I had a feeling, the chevron was going to be the winner, the design is so popular right now. (And I should really get back to quilting it instead of reading comments!)

  17. They are all sweet...I voted for B. I'd love to see them quilted! I love how scrappy they look (scrappy in the very best sense). Will you hand quilt? Machine quilt? I so love quilts, especially scrappy ones. Lynaea @ EveryDayBloom.com
