Have you been to Pei Wei lately?
Pei Wei happens to be one of our favorite casual dining restaurants. I really like the laid back atmosphere and we all love the the yummy food! Even better, there’s a Pei Wei location right off the main highway on my hubby’s commute home from work and they have a really great take-out service. (I order online and hubby picks it up…)
If you’ve never visited before, Pei Wei offers a menu of high-quality Asian cuisine featuring fresh, hand-cut ingredients. All dishes are “woked”-to-order, so you can customize your dish however you like it. They even have a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Be sure to Explore the Pei Wei Asian Diner menu !
Pei Wei has a new flavor profile, called Thai Lime & Chile. The new flavors feature refreshing citrus, combined with spicy Fresno chilies for unique flavor adventure. You choose the protein, (chicken, steak, shrimp or tofu.) Then it is “wok-tossed” in a Thai lime pineapple chile sauce, along with garlic, red onion, snap peas, Fresno chile peppers, topped with cashews, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers and cilantro. (The Thai Lime & Chile is available as a regular or small wok’d entrée served with white or brown rice, or as an entrée salad – with your choice of protien.)
I tried the Thai Lime and Chili salad and it was really good! I don’t like a lot of heat in my spicy food and I though it had just the right amount of kick.
A few other of their new menu additions include the Wok Roasted Vegetable Salad, Ginger Orange Edamame and Szechuan Green Beans.
We tried the Szechuan Green beans. Yum, the kids even like them. (Which says a lot!)
(or which you would like to try. See menu here.) For additional entries, you can:
