– Chocolate fudge cake mix – Instant chocolate pudding mix – Eggs, Sour cream, Oil – Chocolate chips – Butter, Cocoa powder – Confectioner’s sugar, Milk
Step 1: Prepare the pan. Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit. Grease a 12-cup Bundt pan with oil, then dust with flour. Shake out the excess flour. Step 2: Mix the ingredients: Add the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, sour cream, warm water, and oil to a large mixing bowl. Mix together with an electric mixer on low speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 3: Bake. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the cake for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool the cake on a wire rack for about 20 minutes.
Step 4: Make the Frosting. Place the butter in a medium saucepan and melt over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the cocoa powder and milk. Let the mixture come to a boil, stirring continuously, and then remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the confectioner’s sugar until the frosting is smooth.
Step 4: Pour the Frosting over the BundtCake. Let the frosting cool down for a few minutes. Pour the frosting over the top of the cake. If you find your frosting has thickened too much, you can reheat it on the stove for a minute or two.
