I sewed this skirt exactly as designed, with the only changes were that I used the same fabric for the entire skirt, and I left it unhemmed since the fabric I used was a nice thick Ponte knit.  When you cut a circle skirt out this way, there will be 4 seams, but there’s a lot less fabric waste.
