Description

These Chocolate Air Fryer Breakfast Cookies are a perfect grab-and-go breakfast option! Made with oats, chia seed, bananas, cocoa powder, plus a few more ingredients, they are chock full of nutrition, and everyone will love the chocolate flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small to medium ripe banana
  • ½ cup oats (quick or rolled)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoon fresh brewed coffee (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the banana.
  2. Stir in the oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds, optional coffee, maple syrup, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  3. Divide cookie dough into five equal-sized balls (about two tablespoons of cookie dough) on a square of parchment paper cut to fit the inside of the air fryer. Press down slightly with a fork.
  4. Place the parchment with the cookie dough into the air fryer basket or tray and bake at 335°F for 8 to 9 minutes. (No need to preheat the air fryer first.) When done baking, carefully remove the cookies from the air fryer basket. Enjoy warm or room temperature!
