Description

Thick, juicy apples covered in cinnamon and spice cake mix come together in this quick and easy Apple Pie Dump Cake.


Ingredients

  • 2 (21 oz) cans of apple pie filling
  • 1 (15.25 oz) boxed Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter, sliced
  • 12 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 13 x 9 in casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. Line the bottom of the casserole dish with the cans of apple pie filling.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples. Followed by the dry spiced cake mix.
  4. Top the cake mix with oats and brown sugar.
  5. Cut the butter into slices and place them evenly over the oats and brown sugar layer.
  6. Bake for 40-45 min or until lightly browned on top and the butter is melted.
  7. Serve warm plain or with ice cream.
