Description

These Homemade Blueberry Pop-Tarts are the best! Way better than store-bought, and so easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 9-inch pie crusts
  • 1 cup blueberry pie filling
  • Cold water for sealing the pop tarts
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons whole milk
  • 3 tablespoon blue/ purple sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Roll out each pie crust and cut out 12 4×3 inch rectangles.
  3. Place a generous spoonful of blueberry pie filling on 6 of the pie crust rectangles. Run a finger dipped in cold water along the edge of the rectangles topped with pie filling.
  4. Top each pop tart with the remaining rectangles and use a fork to crimp the edges.
  5. Bake the pop tarts for 11 minutes. Allow the pop tarts to cool while you prep the frosting by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  6. Spoon a generous amount of frosting onto each pop tart and top with sprinkles.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
