Triple Layer Brownies are decadent, rich, and indulgent. They consist of three layers: chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo cookies, and brownie batter. They are a popular treat for special occasions or when you want to indulge in something sweet and comforting.

For the cookie layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk or dark)
For the Oreo layer:
- 24 regular Oreos
For the brownie layer:
- 1 package boxed brownie mix + the ingredients called on the packaging

Instructions
- In a bowl prepare the brownie batter according to the instructions on the packaging.
- In another large bowl cream the butter with the sugars. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Slowly add in the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix again.
- Carefully fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Layer the cookie dough on the bottom of the baking pan, pressing down with a spatula or your fingers. Layer as many Oreos (~24) that will fit on top of the cookie dough in a single layer.
- Evenly pour the brownie batter on top of the Oreos.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let the brownies rest for 1-2 hours before cutting and serving.
