This recipe was perfect for little helpers.

Perfect to wrap up and give as a treat! Because isn’t everything just better on  a stick?

Cake Batter Truffles {On a Stick}

Ingredients

Truffles:

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 cup yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3-4 Tablespoons milk
  • 2 Tablespoons sprinkles

Truffle Coating:

  • 16 ounces (8 squares) almond bark (or white candy melts)
  • 4 Tablespoons yellow cake mix
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Beat together butter and sugar using mixer.  Add cake mix, flour, salt, and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
  2. Add 3 Tablespoons of milk or more if needed to make a dough consistency. Add sprinkles.
  3. Roll dough into one inch balls and place on a parchment or wax paper lined cookie sheet.
  4. Chill balls in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to firm up.
  5. While dough balls are chilling, melt almond bark in the microwave in 30 second intervals.
  6. Once melted, quickly stir in cake mix until incorporated completely.
  7. Dip truffles into almond bark, shake off excess bark.
  8. Quickly place back on the cookie sheet insert stick and top with sprinkles. Add sticks if desired.
  9. Best if kept in the fridge until serving. Makes around 24-30 truffles.

So yummy looking. I like anything on a stick, just pop it in your mouth. It's meant to be, just a baby who just put everything in there mouth, you just got to stick it in. So sorry I'm rambling. But it does look delicious. Thanks for sharing your inspiration at Sunday's Best!
