Happy Saturday Everyone, I’ve got something fun to share with you today:  I made my very first sewing video tutorial!  The video tutorial is for my new shearling vest pattern.

I made the video on a whim very early the other morning, using just my phone. (I’m actually still wearing my robe.)  I’m surprised, though, the video was easier to make than a step by step photo tutorial. (That may only be because I already did the photo tutorial and was well versed in how this project comes together and the fact that it is just a very simple project!)

Let me know what you think!  Would you like to see more videos?  (If so, there is a really cool tripod I saw on Amazon the other day, and I might just have to add that to my Christmas list so I can make higher quality videos with my “real” camera.)

Now on to the video, it’s about 8 minutes long: (I’ll be adding the video to the tutorial page, so you’ll be able to find it easily if you’re planning to sew this at a later date!)

    I AM THRILLED ABOUT MAKING THIS VEST, I posted a question about the pattern and after looking at it again, the instructions are very simple and complete. I made this for my 8 yr old granddaughter and cannot wait to see it on her…I am not an experienced seamstress …if I can do this anyone can…ADORABLE
