My favorite time of the year is finally here… The holidays!
There are so many things I love about the holidays. It goes without saying, time with friends and family is number one, but number two I think is all of the holiday decor, both inside and out. Everywhere in our neighborhood, I’m seeing all the pretty Holiday decorations and light displays. I cannot wait to get our lights up so we can join in the festivities too!
We’re actually moving at the end of the month and my first thought was, we wouldn’t put up our outdoor decorations this year since it is so much work to get all the lights up and then put them away when done. (And, all that on top of packing, will be a lot of work.)
But as everyone’s displays are going up around me, I’m feeling like the neighborhood Grinch! So I’ve talked my hubby into putting up a scaled-down display for this year.
(Our yard display last year.) I’ve got a little tutorial on how to make these light trees coming up soo, so if interested, stay tuned for that!
The third thing on the list about the holidays? All of the parties and gift giving!
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy receiving just as much as I love to give, but I especially enjoy the process of shopping for just the perfect gift! Gifts for friends, family, relatives, neighbors, cousins, mailmen, teachers… you name it. There’s no shortage of gift-giving opportunities during this time. And today, I want to share my very best tip for saving money on all your holiday shopping!
Whether you’re doing your shopping cozied up in jammies with your lap or hitting the streets and checking off your lists in the store I want to share my savings secret with you: I’ve been saving money on all of my holiday purchases by shopping with the Ibotta app!

(Search for your favorite here.)
Check out a few of my favorite Ibotta deals: Some are available through the app online and others, in-store. (These offers were valid as of publishing date of this post. Check your app for details as offers change frequently and may not be available in all areas.)
