Raspberry Chipotle and Ricotta Crostini Appetizers

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite, simple go-to appetizer recipes. Raspberry Chipotle and Ricotta Crostini. (Actually, I love Raspberry Chipotle anything because this smoky, sweet and spicy sauce can be served so many ways.)
Simple and delicious appetizer idea: Raspberry Chipotle And Ricotta Crostini

You can probably find a few different spicy sweet jellies and sauces in your grocery store that would work.  Sometimes they’re with the barbecue sauces other times they’re with the jellies, you’ll just have to look.

There are several different brands and flavors to choose from (a few examples: this brand, this one and this brand,) but my very favorite is the Fischer and Wieser Original Raspberry Chipotle sauce.  All of our local grocery stores carry it, even Walmart and Costco.  (Here is a store locator for the Raspberry Chipotle.)

I often serve this sauce with cream cheese and crackers or pita chips, but today I used Ricotta cheese and toasted french bread slices.  Love how they turned out- just a bit fancier than using crackers, but oh-so good.
Easy appetizer ideas
These are a must try for your next yet together.  If you use cream cheese instead of ricotta, I prefer the whipped cream cheese- makes for much easier spreading and dipping.

Like this appetizer idea?  Don’t forget to pin it!

I do hope I can find some of that jelly here locally as it sounds amazing. I've never seen any with that combo. I'll definitely have to pay more attention on the jelly aisle! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
