Summer’s coming, and with summer comes long days and warm nights, vacations, hours at the pool and fun family get together’s that include some of my favorite potluck dishes! My family has a couple of go-to recipes, but I’m always looking for something new and yummy to bring to a gathering.
When deciding what dish to contribute, I’m sometimes up for a more complicated main dish, other times it needs to be a quick and easy dessert. As I was putting together this collection of recipes, I tried to select a good combination of main dishes, side dishes/salads and desserts. Many of these are family favorites but I’ve definitely spotted a few new recipes to try!
Orange Sesame Chicken Salad
The first time I ever had this salad was at potluck. The lady who brought the salad, kept all the ingredients separate until it was time to eat. Then she just tossed the ingredients into a big bowl, stirred it up and it turned out to be one of the favorite dishes of the evening.
