Besides the change in weather and the influx of pumpkin-flavored everything in every single store and restaurant, there is another sure sign of fall in the United States – football.

Hubby loves having his friends over for college ball on Saturdays, but it’s generally a last minute thing.  Last-minute gatherings Aren’t my favorite due to the house cleaning and food preparation in a short amount of time.

The good news is, my kids are now old enough to be put to work cleaning and I have a couple quick and easy game day snack ideas that I have come to rely on for these last minute gatherings.

A few of our favorite game day snacks:

game day snacks

1. Lit’l Smokies and cheddar cheese sticks.

These are so easy!

Just put a chunk of cheddar cheese and one of the cocktail links on a toothpick and you have the easiest, tastiest cocktail appetizer ever.Game Day Snack Ideas

2. Tyson Any’tizers.

They’re just so easy to make!  (We particularly love the Boneless Buffalo Wings.)

To cook, toss them in the oven, air fryer or even microwave.

Serve with your favorite blue cheese dipping sauce and celery and you’re ready to go. (I often make buffalo wings in the pressure cooker when it’s just the family- but they’re very messy- The Tyson Any’tizers are practically mess-free!)

3. Pulled Pork Sliders.

Pork sliders are one of those appetizers that make it look like you spent a lot of time cooking but really they really and just take a few minutes of prep to make them in the slow cooker.

Good news is with the Ball Park® Frozen Pulled Pork, you can skip the prep and have your sliders ready in just a few minutes.Easy game day snacks.

4. Easy Sausage Balls

And of course, one of the family’s favorite game day appetizers are these easy to make Sausage Balls!

How to Make Sausage Balls:

All you need to do is mix together 1lb of the Jimmy Dean Roll Sausage with a couple other ingredients and they’re the best!  (Recipe and instructions at the bottom of the post.)
