Are you thinking about giving a Kiwi Crate Box or a craft subscription box as a gift? Here is our experience and a Kiwi Crate Review:
Summer has officially arrived and the kids are out of school. I’ve been working on our activity schedule for the summer. (more on that in another post) Our activities involve projects in the kitchen, some schoolwork/worksheets, trips to the library, swimming pool and other out of the house excursions and of course, craft time.
And oh boy, do my kids like to do crafts!
It can be difficult to come up with new fun and exciting crafts for my little ones to do (and on top of that, to keep the supplies in stock.) I do actually have a fairly well-stocked craft closet, but I know that’s not always the norm.
I have a solution for that… A monthly craft subscription box!
Have you heard of Kiwi Crate? Kiwi Crate is a monthly subscription that delivers a craft filled activity box directly to your child.
The Kiwi Crate box comes with all the hands-on materials and supplies needed to complete two creative and educational crafts. Each month the box comes with a different theme like Music, Nature, Water, or Safari. They deliver everything needed for fun and unique activities that you and your kids can enjoy together. The crafts that came in the box are totally better than anything I could have ever put together myself.
You can choose your boxes based on an age range: Koala Crate 3-4, Kiwi Crate 5-8, Doodle Crate or Tinker Crate 9-16.

The theme of our last box was “Farm Life”.
It had everything we needed to create our little farm, including, animal finger puppets.
The box was really a lifesaver for me, our Memorial Day plans had been canceled and the weather was grey and stormy. My little guys were very upset to miss out on the pool party sleepover we had been planning and really needed something to cheer them up.
So farm making it was! What I think is really great about Kiwi Crate is the option to add additional supplies for a sibling. (No fighting, yea!)
They loved watching the soil pellets expand on this craft…
All done, smile for mom!
One week later, our farms are still going strong, though I believe one farm may be getting a little more love and water than the other…
Just in time for summer, Kiwi Crate is launching their annual Summer Adventure Series where for the months of June – August, their monthly crate themes will center around summer projects for kids and families! Click here for the latest promotions Kiwi Crate has to offer!
Do you think this is something your little ones would love? (It’s a great gift idea too!)
