Great Gift Ideas for Young Girls

My Daughter had a birthday party for a little girl in her class to attend last weekend; and of course- I put the gift buying off to the very last second. Fortunately for us we have a shopping center along the way, so I planned to stop and grab the gift on our way to the party.

As we headed into the toy department, we still weren’t sure about what gift we wanted to give. We turned into the Disney Junior aisle and found all of the items including the brand new Sofia the First toys that have just launched! My daughter and I happen to love watching Sofia the First together and when she saw these toys, she knew that was the gift she wanted to give her friend!

If you are not familiar with Sofia the First, it’s an animated series on Disney Junior.  Sofia is an ordinary girl who suddenly becomes royalty when her mother marries a King. The series follows Sofia’s adventures as she finds out that qualities on the inside are what make a princess. (Kindness, courage, loyalty, honesty, generosity, forgiveness, etc.)

I really appreciate the focus on the importance of these qualities and the lessons taught in each episode and my daughter just loves Sofia and is always entertained by the shows. Even though we were supposed to be shopping for a friend, we also came home with a few new toys for us as well.  (These Sofia the First Royal Friends figures are perfect for the tub, btw!)

The new Sofia the First line of toys makes a great gift for little girls.  They are high quality and come at a reasonable price.   From dolls to a palace dollhouse to a magic musical gown and interactive amulet necklace.  Perfect toys for inspiring imagination, Sofia takes playtime from ordinary to extraordinary!

 
We also grabbed the Musical Light-Up Amulet for ourselves- she loves jewelry and this has all sorts of interactive features, including music.
She really loves the music, lol!

If you just don’t know what gift to give for your next celebration, I definitely recommend the Sofia the First line of toys. (You should really check out the show too!) Sofia can inspire your little princess to be brave, confident and creative too!
