The Best Free Sewing Patterns of 2016 from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom! (And by best, I mean the most popular projects created in 2016.)
Can you believe another year has come and gone? Crazy to think about it (so I try not to, lol!)
I put out several new patterns this past year and added additional sizing to a few old favorites. I do have a couple of new goals for the coming year, one is to create a few how-to to videos to go along with the step by step photos and the second is to add a couple of new women’s projects to my collection. (I have over 153 free patterns and tutorials listed in the menu above. If you’ve not had a chance to browse through those, you should definitely take the time to do so.)
One of my favorite end of the year tasks is to look back at all my posts, seeing what was most popular and putting together a top 10 list.
Here’s a look back at my most pinned projects of 2016, listed most popular 1st. (Just click the photo to visit the post.)
Basic Legging Pattern, sz 3 to 12
Basic Girl’s T-shirt Pattern, sz 3 to 10

Off the Shoulder Ruffle top pattern for girls, sz 3 to 12)

Faux Shearling Vest Pattern, sz 3 to 10

And of course, the top projects from years past continue to be popular. See them here: 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011.
