Button Heart Valentine Cards

We were out of school on Monday and Tuesday, so it was perfect timing to get to work on our Valentine’s Day cards. I have a huge collection of buttons (and I just bought a few more) so this is a great craft to put a few buttons to use!
All it takes is buttons, cardstock and glue, a perfect craft for little fingers… So cute!
Supplies needed:
- Heavy card stock for the card base (or pre-made cards)
- Buttons
- Glue and Scissors
Instructions:
Cut out a heart shape on contrasting cardstock and glue to the card. (Be careful not to glue it upside down.)
Add glue to half the heart:
Go to town adding buttons.!
Once you have completed the first half of the heart, add glue to add glue to the 2nd half and completely cover the heart with buttons.
Once the glue has mostly dried, you might want to place a heavy object on the card to help make sure it dries flat.
(I cut out the heart and added the glue. My Missy did the rest!)
