Anything with glitter is all right by me, lol and these DIY Glitter Pumpkins are easy to make with just a bit of paint, glitter and glue!
I love the new carvable craft pumpkins that are available now. They are very realistic looking. Of course, nothing compares to the tradition of carving real pumpkins, (then roasting the seeds- yum) but I really like the idea of decorating a pumpkin and then being able to use the pumpkin year after year.
These pumpkins are so cute! I love anything covered with glitter!
The good thing is making these pumpkins is a pretty simple process. The most important thing to keep in mind – MAKE SURE your pumpkin says CARVABLE! As I discovered, not all faux pumpkins are carvable!
(Spray paint would be much easier if you happen to have the color you need, otherwise just use 2 coats of acrylic paint.)
(I spread the glue on with my fingers. (I used regular white glue on the first pumpkin, but the Modge Podge dried so much faster!)
:I love my chalkboard pumpkin too. (I gave it 2 coats of Krylon chalkboard spray paint– this stuff rocks!)
How are you decorating your pumpkins this year?
