Jingle Bell Jewelry

Craftprojectideas.com sent me a little package of mini jingle bells to craft with. (The jingle bells can be found at Walmart.) The bells are so cute and make the sweetest little jingle! I thought they would be perfect to use on the Jingle Bell Necklaces we were making. (They will make a great little gift to give out at holiday parties.)

This is a great little craft, so quick and easy, I guarantee kids will love them! (I let my daughter wear hers to school today, I hope it doesn’t get taken away by the teacher…)

To make some jingle bell jewelry for yourself all you need is a handful of jingle bells and some narrow ribbon. (the ribbon I used was 3mm <green> and 1/4 inch <red>).
Simply thread the jingle bells on to your ribbon and tie a knot around the bell to hold them in place.

Space them out and add as many as you like to get the look you are going for.
To connect the ends of the necklace, I tied a square knot and finished the knot with a bow.

To make the bracelet, I hand-sewed a jump ring and clasp to the end of the ribbon. Once I trimmed the ribbon, I sealed the edges with fray check. (If you don’t have fray check, you can seal them with a lighter.)

Have fun making some Jingle Bell Jewelry!
