How to make a Dolman Top pattern (or make a dolman sleeve dress, just by extending the length!)

 

Step 1:   Get your measurements:

  • Neckline to desired sleeve length
  • Hip measurement (add 6 inches to this measurement, then divide by 4, so if her hip is 22 + 6 / 4, final # of 7)
  • Shoulder to the desired length

Knit fabric is my nemesis and I ‘d like to conquer it once and for all! Right now I pick up a knit fabric, and my hands get sweaty, my heart sinks, and my mind goes blank! My husband got me a cover stitch machine and it sits in the corner laughing at me. I WILL conquer it if it’s the last thing I do! I have two new grands and they NEED me to WIN over KNITS!
