Happy Monday Everyone! (It is very happy for me – It’s Spring Break for us and I have slept until almost 8:30 for the last 3 mornings!)
I’ve posted my menu plan every week for over 2 years, and I just couldn’t let Monday go by without posting this weeks “plan”, even though it is super lame.
The kids are at Grandma’s for the entire week and I am taking the week off from cooking! (If I feel like it, I may or may not experiment with a new recipe, we’ll see how the week goes…
Here is my plan… (If you can even call it that!)
Monday: Out somewhere. I’m meeting my hubby in town near his office, we are going to eat somewhere and probably hit Sam’s Club to activate our new membership and get the free stuff that came with the deal I bought. (I shared this offer on my Facebook page, did anyone else get it too?)
The rest of the week: I don’t really have a plan for the rest of the week. I know we will be eating salads and soft tacos with the rotisserie chicken from Sam’s. I won’t be home Wednesday night and Hubby will probably work late a few evenings and on those nights I will eat cereal or sandwiches or a frozen dinner (gasp!) on those nights.
I know we plan to see at least one more movie and might go to Jason’s Deli, since it is right next door to a theater we like to go to. (We already saw the new Die Hard movie and Silver Linings Playbook this past weekend, both were good!) Jason’s deli is in my top 5 favorite restaurants- don’t laugh… Their soups and soft serve ice cream can’t be beat!
(I always take pictures of my ice cream cones – doesn’t everyone? This was the latest I posted on Instagram🙂
|Top that! (If you don’t already, you can follow me here on Instagram.)|
I also have some fish in the freezer (Tilapia), but at this point I have no idea how or when I will cook it, so we’ll see.
Sunday: Hubby is meeting my parents in San Antonio to pick up the kids at 5pm, so that is one more evening to myself… (I sure feel sorry for the elementary teachers on Monday morning!)
My mom sent me the picture below. They are having so much fun with their cousins, she couldn’t even get them to look up at the camera!
Have a great week everyone!
