Welcome back to the tropical drink of the day series! We’ve been on vacation in Mexico for the last week and I am sharing a new tropical drink recipe every day!
Today’s drink is the Chocolate Banana Monkey, a specialty drink of the Royal Resorts.
I did not make today’s drink myself, it was happy hour, so I ordered one at the pool bar and brought the drink up to our room after swimming. (I put it in the freezer to firm up and transferred to my fancy glasses before photographing,)

How to make a Chocolate Banana Monkey:

Chocolate Banana Monkey
Description
A deliciously sweet chocolate banana frozen drink!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz coffee liqueur
- ½ oz crème de cacao (you can substitute Hershey’s syrup)
- 1 oz coconut cream
- 2 oz evaporated milk
- Half a banana
- cup of ice
Instructions
Blend in a blender and serve.
