I wonder if you guys are enjoying the drink of the day posts as much as my Mom and I are enjoying making (and drinking) them?
(Be sure to check out my round up of all the Best Tropical Drinks we made while on vacation.)
I’ve been sending my hubby the pictures, too (he doesn’t join us for a few more days.) He says we may have to revisit a few of these once he gets here.
We decided to go ahead and make the banana daiquiri today since we had the bananas on hand, and I wasn’t sure there would be any left by the end of the day tomorrow.
This one was really good, too; if you have bananas on hand, I say go for it!
PrintPineapple Banana Daiquiri
Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1 oz light rum
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 1 banana (sliced)
- 1 tsp sugar (you might not need this depending on the ripeness of your banana and how sweet you like your daiquiri. I suggest mixing the daiquiri, giving it a taste, and add sugar as needed)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- crushed strawberry for garnish
Instructions
- Pour the ingredients into a blender, blend on low speed for a few seconds, then at high until smooth.
- Mash a strawberry or two with a fork and add a dash of sugar.
- Drizzle strawberry mixture on top for garnish. (optional: drag a toothpick through the strawberry mixture for a pretty swirl.
