Tropical Drink of the Day: Pineapple Banana Daiquiri

I’ve been sending my hubby the pictures too (he doesn’t join us for a few more days.)  He says we may have to revisit a few of these once he gets here..

We decided to go ahead and make the banana daiquiri today since we had the bananas on hand and I wasn’t sure there would be any left by the end of the day tomorrow.

This one was really good too, if you have bananas on hand, I say go for it!

Banana Daiquiri

Ingredients:
  •  1 oz light rum
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 banana (sliced)
  • 1 tsp sugar (you might not need this depends on the ripeness of your banana and how sweet you like your daiquiri.  I suggest mixing the daiquiri, giving it a taste and add sugar as needed)
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • crushed strawberry for garnish
Directions:
Pour the ingredients into a blender, blend on low speed for a few seconds, then at high until smooth.
Mash a strawberry or two with a fork and add a dash of sugar.  Drizzle strawberry mixture on top for garnish.
