I wonder if you guys are enjoying the drink of the day posts as much as my Mom and I are enjoying making (and drinking) them?

I’ve been sending my hubby the pictures too (he doesn’t join us for a few more days.) He says we may have to revisit a few of these once he gets here..
We decided to go ahead and make the banana daiquiri today since we had the bananas on hand and I wasn’t sure there would be any left by the end of the day tomorrow.
This one was really good too, if you have bananas on hand, I say go for it!
- 1 oz light rum
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 1 banana (sliced)
- 1 tsp sugar (you might not need this depends on the ripeness of your banana and how sweet you like your daiquiri. I suggest mixing the daiquiri, giving it a taste and add sugar as needed)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- crushed strawberry for garnish
Mash a strawberry or two with a fork and add a dash of sugar. Drizzle strawberry mixture on top for garnish.
