Homegrown Tomatoes with Miracle Gro Expand 'n Grow and Giveaway

This post brought to you by Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have always been a fan of miracle grow fertilizer.  We buy a package every spring and I use it on all my flowers until it's gone.

The weather is starting to warm up and we have already been planting some impatiens in the flower pots on our back patio.  I will also be planting some herbs and tomatoes.  Last summer I had 2 tomato plants, but I only got a few tomatoes from them.

This year I am going to plant the tomatoes with the Miracle Grow  Expand ‘n Gro™.

After watching this video and I am really exited to try it out!

I was so happy when Social Spark offered to send me a sample of the Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix. I'm going to the lawn and garden store this afternoon to pick up some new tomato plants and I hope my sample is in the mail box so I can get started!
Expand ‘n Gro says users will get the following benefits:
  • Up to three times the Flowers and Vegetables!
  • Significantly improves soil for multiple years.
  • Concentrated planting mix expands up to 3X when water is added.
  • Feeds for up to 6 months.
  • All natural fibers hold up to 50% more water than basic potting soil.
This is exactly what I need for my container garden!  I am already thinking about what to do with all my tomatoes, be sure to check back and see how well they do...

Now, on to the giveaway. Miracle grow has generously offered one of the readers of Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom a sample of the new Expand 'n Grow Product.  I will be using rafflecopter for the giveaway, just follow the directions on the rafflecopter form.  I would love for you to leave me a comment telling me what you will be planting with the Miracle-Grow Expand ‘n Gro™.
Good Luck!

  1. I have used Miracle Gro fertilizer for years, but have never used the Expand n Grow. It sounds like a great product.

  2. I would love to use some Expand n Grow! Miracle Grow is awesome for plants! I would use for tomatoes too! Everyones favorite. We have green onions and chives outside in the garden now, all we're missing is some lettuce and tomatoes. Thanks.
