Mango Peach Moscato Cocktail is the Perfect Poolside Adult Beverage

I love summer.

It’s just the best time of the year for me.

Even though it gets pretty hot out, I love to be outside and by the pool and my kids definitely think quality time together in the summer =  spending as many afternoons in the pool as possible.

I can’t say I blame them!

While I enjoy watching the kids splash around in the pool, I especially enjoy catching up with family and friends, hanging by pool, particularly with one of my favorite summer drinks in hand.

And I have to say, this Mango Peach Moscato Cocktail is my new favorite summer drink!

This fruity summer cocktail is a simple and easy Moscato wine cocktail recipe, made with peach Moscato and a few scoops of mango sorbet.

While a love a good blended frozen drink (like this Mango Margarita or this Pina Colada) I’m thinking this just was about the most delicious adult beverage EVER!

And, it was super easy to make!

Ingredients:

  • Moscato Wine
  • Sorbet

Yep, that’s it, just 2 simple ingredients!

For this Moscato wine cocktail recipe, all you have to do is add a scoop or two of mango sorbet to your wine glass and top the sorbet with a few ounces of Moscato.

What other delicious cocktail is that quick and easy to make?!  (I found both the peach wine and sorbet at my local grocery store.)

What Is Moscato Wine?

Moscato is a type of wine from Italy, made from Muscat grapes. It’s traditionally considered a dessert wine but also pairs well with spicy foods.

Moscato wine is popular for being low in alcohol and easy to drink, along with its fruit flavor.

As you can tell by the title, I used peach Moscato and mango sorbet to make this but really, you have endless possibilities of making this super easy summer drink.

All you need is the Moscato wine, which is available in several different flavors, and sorbet in a complementing flavor.

How To Make A Moscato Cocktail

Moscato cocktails are so easy to make!

Like this Mango and Peach Moscato Cocktail, most Moscato wine cocktail recipes involve only a few simple ingredients, like Moscato and sorbet or Moscato and fruit.

Making a Moscato cocktail can be just as easy as taking a bottle of Moscato and adding fruit, lemonade or sorbet. Just a few seconds of work and you have one of the most refreshing summer drinks you’ll ever try!

I haven’t tried it yet, but I want to get my hands on a bottle of pink Moscato and try mixing it with raspberry or cherry sorbet for a completely new Moscato cocktail.

I think it will taste amazing!  (My mother tells me the Barfoot Pink Moscato is her favorite.)

While I love sipping these by the pool, I must admit that this Moscato wine cocktail recipe is one that also makes a fun boozy dessert as well.

This looks SO Yummy!! I agree w/ your Mother, Barefoot IS the BEST in flavors!! During the Summer months they also have “Sparkling” flavors w/ carbonation in them. There is a ‘White’ that is Delish!!! Hope you try them & I WILL try this recipe!
