Yesterday evening, Hubby sent one of the kids into my office to request Taco Cabana for dinner. I hadn’t started cooking dinner yet and the kitchen was an absolute wreck, so I just smiled and said, “Ya’ll have fun!” (I was more than happy to have a break from the dinner routine and clean the kitchen in peace.)
Taco Cabana happens to be right next door to Walmart. As they were driving through the Walmart parking lot, Hubby spotted several live Christmas trees that had been marked down to 50% off. So yes… we now have a second Christmas tree in the breakfast area. (See it here.) Everyone was really excited to decorate this tree too. We have a couple of extra light sets but we don’t really have any extra ornaments for this little tree. I told the kids we would have to spend the next week making ornaments for the new tree.
Today’s Holiday Sewing Tour post, a Mini Stocking Ornament tutorial with a free pattern from Abby at Sew Much Ado, could not have come at a better time for us – we will definitely be making a few of these!
Be sure to check out her post here to see the tutorial.
Don’t forget to enter the giveaway for the Brother Serger! (There are a couple of options that allow you to enter every day…)
