I am having trouble finding the pattern to download for the dolman top. I’ve gone over it many times. I saw instructions for how to make your own but I see the pattern on the how to print a pattern. So sorry for the trouble but my granddaughter is visiting and loves the tie shirts. Thanks for any help. Also thank you for all of the time and effort you give for us.

I love your simple low carb chili recipe. Only problem when using a crockpot is it has far too much liquid. Not sure what to do without altering the recipe too much.
I recommend, removing the lid in the last hour and maybe cooking it an additional hour with the lid off.
Please send me the pattern for the tween sized apron. Really appreciate that you made a pattern that will fit 9 year olds. All the other patterns I’ve seen, including commercial patterns, fit smaller children and adults. I already have the fabric and am ready to make one. Thanks.

Hi, it is not a pattern, just a simple tutorial. (kind of a quilt as you go, sewing together a bunch of bandanas.) The tutorial is found here.
looks like my kind of website, I am a 75 year old grandmother who love to cook and sew keep my house in order attend church and enjoy spending time with my husband of 56 years look forward to visiting with my grandchildren when possible, our lives as changed since covid19 because do not see as many friends as would like so i do more quilting just finishing up a queen size quilt with bed runner (foot of bed runner or toe warmer) with pillow shams and cushion covers will send you a pic when finished if that would be o.k. We live in sleepy Newfoundland and Labrador Province where things are very quiet and watch whales, seals, sea birds, icebergs pass by our cottage that is located on the Atlantic Ocean, Canada Love life and all the amenities it has to offer.

It’s wonderful that you can keep so busy with large projects. I only do small sewing projects since having kidney cancer, then 10yrs later…breast cancer(4 yrs ago). So I very much enjoy this web site as it seems they have something for everyone !

It sounds delicious but you didn’t mention how much butter to use. Are you using the amount of butter that might be on the cake mix? I have some blueberries I would like to try that with

Bought a sewing machine and material to learn how to quilt during lockdown. Something I have always wanted to do and now have the time for – on a farm in South Africa.
The imperial measurements and having to cut etc from scratch is making the yourney a bit more complicated though. 🙂

I love to sew and my children and grandchildren are all grown & I’ve been looking around to see who I can sew for. Seeing what others do maybe I can start something in our church or just make some clothes and donate them to goodwill. Thank you for your patterns
I’m working on shirts that are similar to peasant ones but with a longer raglan sleeve.
Peasant sleeves can be a little weird for children with sensory issues.
A few I have seen look like they use bias tape or trim. Are there any suggestions for bias tape instructions.
They never seem to come out right on the curved neckline.

Same here> We have a women’s guild that meets every Wednesday at St. Mark’s Church in Green Bay, WI. We make lap robes and give them away to nursing homes and charities around Green Bay, WI. We are always looking for new patterms and ideas.
I sew simple dresses for my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, the peasant dress is my favorite, because the little sleeve covers their shoulders better than the pillowcase dresses that tie on the shoulder.

I am especially interested in lap quilt patterns to be used in our guild for charity quilts we work on all year and donate. We usually do around 300 quilts and donate to various charities in our area each year. I am interested in easy to intermediate level as we have quilters at various skill levels. We make up quilt kits by cutting them out and include the pattern. We get together once a month and work together for the day and then work at home on our own.
